Create an employer account, enter your company details and prepare your vacancy. You can paste vacancy text, then check and complete the suggested details. Publishing vacancies stays free. The first 2 reviewed matches are free across your account; you activate further matching yourself with a paid plan.
Where does my vacancy appear?
Your vacancy can be discovered in the Werkvolk app and on its own public page on werkvolkjobs.com, shareable via WhatsApp and social media. Google Jobs may include that page. Eligible vacancies can be shared through VDAB under its publication requirements. Our advertising traffic and partnerships with technical schools and training centres bring skilled workers to the platform. Reach varies by vacancy.
Does my vacancy really appear on the VDAB website automatically?
Eligible vacancies can also be shared through the VDAB connection, subject to its publication requirements. Werkvolk is an official partner of VDAB.
Does my vacancy end up in Google Jobs?
Your vacancy page includes structured job information for Google’s job search experience. Google determines indexing and visibility; placement is not guaranteed.
Does my vacancy get its own web page?
Every vacancy gets a page you can share and search engines can discover. JobPosting structured data helps search engines understand your vacancy.
How does your advertising traffic work for my vacancy?
Werkvolk uses advertising to bring jobseekers to the platform. This does not mean that every vacancy has its own campaign or a fixed advertising budget. Ask us what is available for your vacancy; reach, clicks and candidates are not guaranteed.
What do the partnerships with schools and training centres bring?
Werkvolk has partner agreements with technical schools, where we give sessions ourselves, and with training centres. That brings skilled workers in training straight to the platform.
How many vacancies can I post?
Posting vacancies is free, with no limit on the number you publish. Your account receives its first 2 Werkvolk-reviewed matches free as a one-time allowance. For further matching, choose a subscription: €149 per vacancy per month, Team for €449, Business for €799 or Group for €1,799 per month. All amounts exclude VAT.
Can I edit or pause my vacancy?
You can edit your vacancy and close a filled role in the portal. Vacancy management and your matching subscription are separate choices: check your subscription and cancellation in the portal if you no longer want paid matching.
What does a Spotlight credit include?
One Spotlight credit gives one vacancy 1 month of extra visibility in the app. A separate Spotlight credit costs €49 and does not require a matching subscription. Team includes 1 Spotlight credit per month, Business 3 and Group 6. A Spotlight credit increases visibility but does not guarantee matches or a hire.
What pay information should I include in my vacancy?
Clear pay information helps you judge whether a job fits your expectations. Compare hours, shifts, premiums and benefits as well as the amount. Werkvolk encourages employers to be specific about conditions; discuss missing or unclear information directly with the employer.
Where do vacancies on Werkvolk come from?
Employers post vacancies on Werkvolk themselves. We also publish vacancies from Belgian employers’ own careers pages, naming the source. We do not retrieve these vacancies from VDAB. If your company is already on Werkvolk, you can claim its company page.
How do I report an incorrect or filled vacancy?
Contact us through the contact form or hello@werkvolkjobs.com with the vacancy link, employer and what is incorrect. If you manage the vacancy, edit or close it in the portal. Share only the information needed to check the listing.
