Do the maths: one placement through an agency easily costs more than a full year of Werkvolk for the same vacancy. And Werkvolk sits in front of your process instead of taking it over.
Your first hire is free and nothing ties you down.

How billing runs
Three periods of 4 weeks. Cancellable every 4 weeks after that.
1Week 0 to 4
Your vacancy is live
Your vacancy is online and receiving matches. Until you make your first hire you pay nothing: that hire is currently free, however many vacancies you post.
2Week 4 to 8
Free until your first hire
Nobody hired yet? Then everything stays free. From the moment of your first hire, whenever it happens, you pay 149 euro per 4 weeks for every vacancy you keep online after it.
3Week 8 to 12
You are inside the minimum term
You are in the 12-week minimum term: three billing periods of 4 weeks per activated vacancy. Unlimited recruiters, with no per-user cost.
4From week 12
Ongoing, cancellable every 4 weeks
The minimum term is met: three periods of 4 weeks. Your vacancy runs on every 4 weeks and you cancel per vacancy. No hire after 12 weeks? We highlight your vacancy for free, higher in the results.
Every vacancy has its own 12-week term. You cancel per vacancy, not per account.
Frequently asked questions
Find an answer quickly
What does a vacancy at Werkvolk cost?
Your first hire is currently completely free, no matter how many vacancies you post. After that you pay €149 per 4 weeks per vacancy you keep online, with a minimum of 12 weeks per activated vacancy. After that, every vacancy can be cancelled every 4 weeks.
Is the first hire really completely free?
Yes. It is a limited time offer: you post your vacancies, receive matches and chat with candidates. Free up to and including your first hire: only after that does billing start, and only for vacancies you keep online afterwards. So you see results first and only pay once Werkvolk has proven itself.
Why a minimum of 12 weeks per vacancy?
Good matching needs time to build up full reach: from the VDAB website to Google Jobs and our own advertising. Twelve weeks equal three billing periods of 4 weeks. Does it not work out in that period? Then we highlight your vacancy for free, so it moves higher in the results and matching candidates see it sooner.
Is culture and personality matching included in the price?
Yes, fully. You measure your organisational culture with the scientific CVF/OCAI culture test, per team or department. Every candidate takes a personality test and is automatically matched to the culture of the team you are hiring for. Employers see up to 32% less turnover among new hires as a result.
Are there hidden costs?
No. No setup costs, no placement fees, no commission per hire and no cost per recruiter. You can optionally add extended vacancy analytics, but everything you need to hire is included in the price as standard. Our advertising traffic to your vacancy and the inflow through our partnerships with technical schools and training centres are also simply part of the €149 per 4 weeks.
How do I cancel a vacancy?
After the minimum period of 12 weeks, each vacancy can be cancelled separately every 4 weeks. You manage that yourself in the employer portal: pause, restart or stop a vacancy whenever you want.
What is the spotlight guarantee?
No hire within 12 weeks? Then we highlight your vacancy for free: it moves higher in the results, so candidates who match see it sooner. That way we get everything out of your vacancy without you paying extra.
How does this differ from the costs of a staffing agency?
A staffing agency or recruitment firm easily charges 17 to 25% on top of the gross salary, or thousands of euros per placement. At Werkvolk you pay a fixed amount of €149 per 4 weeks per vacancy and you hire directly, without a middleman. The candidate joins your company straight away.
Can I work with multiple recruiters or locations?
Yes, without limits. Your whole team joins at no extra cost per user, and with multi-company management you add locations or brands, each with their own vacancies, branding and culture profiles.
I still have questions about pricing. Where can I go?
