01What does Werkvolk do with my data?
Werkvolk processes data to provide accounts, vacancies, matching and conversations, support and improve the platform, and meet applicable obligations. The privacy policy describes the data, purposes, legal bases and service providers involved. Data is therefore not used solely for matching.
02Where is my data stored?
According to the privacy policy , personal data is processed mainly within the European Economic Area. Some service providers may be based or process data outside that region. The policy explains the services and safeguards for international transfers; exclusively European hosting is not promised.
03Who sees my profile as a skilled worker?
Werkvolk is not a public CV database for employers. Your interest in a vacancy forms the basis for contact and for profile information the relevant employer can view. Authorised staff and service providers also process data to operate the platform, as explained in the privacy policy .
04Can my current employer see that I am looking?
Your profile is not a publicly searchable CV. Still, we cannot guarantee that your current employer will never hear about your search, for example through a shared message or information you disclose yourself. Check which employer you show interest in and what you share. You can temporarily pause your account.
05How do I delete my account and my data?
Open account settings in your profile and choose account deletion. Read the consequences in the confirmation before proceeding: deletion is permanent. The privacy policy explains how your request is processed and any retention periods. To stop temporarily, use account pause instead.
06What happens to my personality test results?
Available personality and culture information can form part of profile and match information. Consult the app explanation and privacy policy to understand how results are processed and shared. They provide context for a conversation, not a medical diagnosis or guarantee of job fit.
07Do you use AI, and what does it do with my data?
Werkvolk uses automated processing to support vacancy and profile information and suggest relevant matches. Employers and candidates decide themselves whether to proceed. The privacy policy describes data use and service improvement. You can ask us about your data and its processing.
08What is the audit trail for employers?
Activity records help track events and administrative actions in the portal. Access depends on your permissions and available functionality. Contact us if your organisation needs a particular record or export; not every action is promised as a self-service exportable log.
0910How do I request access to or correction of my data?
You can edit available profile information in the app or portal. For other requests about your data, email hello@werkvolkjobs.com . Describe your request without sending login codes. The privacy policy explains your rights and how to exercise them.
11How do I manage cookies and tracking?
Use the website and app privacy or cookie settings where available. Your phone may also request its own permissions. The cookie and privacy policies explain the services used. Turning off notifications and changing tracking consent are different settings.
12How do I report a suspicious message or vacancy?
Contact Werkvolk with the vacancy link or the conversation concerned and explain what seems suspicious. Never share your login code or payment card details in a conversation. Send only the information needed to investigate the report; you can also contact the employer about an error in a vacancy.
